Here’s the first review of 2010: DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki’s single, BREAK OUT! (And my adorable Cyndaquil plushie which is off-topic.) I was finally able to snag my copy today at Mitsuwa, and it is officially the first CD I own of TVXQ so it will be very special. As you can see above I will be reviewing the limited edition that includes both CD and DVD. So if you will, follow after the cut!

Removing the booklet reveals the CD on the left. Now if you’re reading this review wondering who these boys are, in Japan they are known as Tohoshinki. However, they are actually Korean. And in South Korea they are known at DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Gi) or TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi).

Here’s a card that I believe only comes with the limited edition obviously. I’m going to put it up somewhere in my room later, haha. The black and white thing is just advertisement. I love Junsu’s pose here. He’s the boy on the far left. (He’s pretty much my fav. TVXQ member atm. He’s so adorable.)

And finally the whole outside of the booklet! Now you’re probably wondering, what kind of song is “BREAK OUT!”? Its an awesome R&B. TVXQ mostly does pop, R&B and dance. If you like any of that sort of music, you should totally check them out. Its a song that has powerful lyrics and really gets pumped to break through. I love the beat of it, it gets me motivated! : D

My poor, ignored blog. After all these months, and after my friend bought me domain… I hardly used it. I feel bad about it, but that’s the past now. I can make it up now. :3

I haven’t gotten much stuff lately due to my debts, but I’ll look back on some things I got awhile ago and review them. Also, please link back to the blog with wordpress included in the link for the time being. I don’t even have the money to renew it at the moment but I hope to before March ends. XD;;

While my blog has been inactive, I have been doing a little SoulSilver Walkthrough with some videos on YouTube. Just in case you wanted to check them out, I’d thought I’d link them here. Hellos everyone~ My blog ever since I really made it keeps going inactive. School kept me from doing reviews, and updates of course. Now I have driver’s ed, thank goodness it will be over in just another week. Here are a few updates and such I have been working on lately.

Until I have a chance to probably color my blog mascot, and get various sketches, etc.  I will continue to use random anime characters for my blog header. For this month’s blog header, it’s Ikuto from Shugo Chara. I also finally made my own logo. Catchphrase is “Heart thumping exciting collecting~”. It may change, but it’s cute for now. I know “dokidoki wakuwaku” is used a lot but I don’t really care. =P

As for the blog itself, I hope to fill out my blog roll a bit more. I usually add blogs I read or when I swap with someone else. So, if you want your blog on my site, feel free to ask me if it contains anime, manga, video games, figures, etc. themes. This summer I also plan on relearning some html, and figure out how to install that wordpress program…

Another thing I had been working on is the content on my blog. I have been thinking of things to review, what photos to take, etc. I have been thinking about reviewing some of the Japanese magazines I tend to buy monthly from Mitsuwa. I don’t really see much of Ribon on the web and it makes me sad… besides one livejournal group but it kinda died now.  I will continue to review collector items, special editions, etc. of any manga, video game, anime, music, etc. And finally, once we get some nice weather I will location hunt for figure reviews. I also am making some funny nendoroid and figma funnies to randomly post here, though some of it may burn your eyes. Just a warning~

Oh, and I will still be putting up ACEN 09 photos. They are actually all on my flickr, but I didn’t copyright them due to if other people wanted their pictures I took without the copyright. Though on my blog I want the copyright so… does it matter? Just wish there was an easier way of adding copyright on photos instead of opening them all in Photoshop… meh. I also have the review for the Kirameki Yoko Box done, just need to copyright the photos.

That’s all for now. Just wanted to say I’m not slacking off on my blog, just working on making it better before I focus on posting more often.

Finally! I waited so long for this to be released! <3 (Though I don’t get my copy for at least another week due to the shipping process.) As if you didn’t already guess, I love Yoko! (And of course Gurren Lagann.) Check out the full music video below, I’ll have my review up once I recieve it in the mail.

How can I not comment on the video though, I absolutely love the song. XD Wish my Japanese was better though so I could understand the whole thing. (But if you watch the video, you get the gist of what it’s about. If you look past the fan service, of course.) I thought Inoue Marina did a great on this single, and I’m looking forward to future songs by her. ^^

Oh, and I also loved Yoko’s “WTF” face at the start of the video, hehe. X3 (And Leeron as a cheerleader… LOL.)

First of all, ACEN was a blast! I’ll totally have some photos up of the con itself in a day or so. So for I decided to post all the loot I got during the Saturday I was there. I spent $155 aka all my money I brought with me. The most expensive item I bought was my Yoko t-shirt for $45 bucks, which was so worth it as I had been dying for a Yoko shirt.

A little closer look at the smaller things I bought. My badge/pass for the con was $35, nendoroid Kaito was $38, Yoko mug was $12, and Yoko cell phone charm was $8.

I was so happy I managed to get an autograph! (Of course it was free, along with the poster, program guide, etc. viewed in the first picture I took.) Surpringly, there was no one in line for Chiaki Takahashi! I was in shock seeing her there waiting for people to come so I snagged her autograp, and a photo of her with me which I shall post later. =3

Overall I am very very happy with my loot, but of course I wanted everything I saw in the dealer’s room! hehe.

Marking today is the the start of Anime Central 2009! Sadly, I can’t go until tomorrow, and only tomorrow. (Which really sucks since I worked so hard on my Amu Hinamori cosplay… but it’s better then nothing. ^^;; )

Anyways, yes I’ve been to Japan, Akihabara, etc. but not a convention! Last year, I left for Japan the day of the con, and it was too late to change the flight. Of course Japan was probably the better choice, but it made me miss ACEN last year. The only reason why I can only go to ACEN one day this year, is because I’m getting a ride by my friend. My dad had a very unexpected trip to Australia… or else I would have gone all 3 days. My mom on the other hand, does not want to drive. Period.

But, Saturday is a good day to go to a con still! I’m hoping to look into other cons before the end of the year since my ride got messed up for ACEN. My dad has been known for driving me to a Pokemon convention that was like 7 hours away because we would be out of town when it came to my city. So, I’m sure I can still find some other con to go to this year. =P

Last Friday I went to a talent show at my church, and they happened to have a hawaiian theme going on for the lunch. I managed to save this very cute umbrella I got with my drink when my mom said it would look very good with my figures! She told me Yoko would probably look the best with it, and she sure was right! (Though Lelouch would look hillarious with it. XD) The minute I set up this pose I took a picture…. with flash. This morning I tried to do a quick photo shoot before school but they all ended up blurry since the lighting was awful. Hopefully some sun comes out so I can take a picture of her like this outside! She’s just so cute. I’m totally getting more of these umbrellas. <3

Nendoroid Yoko is finally here! I was originally going to show Fate opening the box, but I got impatient as I haven’t gotten a figure since Christmas. Haruhi also got pretty upset since it took me well over a year to get another nendoroid. ^^;; So until I get a nice photo review, enjoy the following photos for now. :3

Here’s Yoko and all of her wonderful accessories! I absolutely love her gun, don’t you? The piece of paper aboves explains how to switch the pink straps on her gun. For those wondering how everything else attaches, here’s a quick run through. To get her orange shades on, there is a small hole in the back of her front bangs to attach it to. To have her hold her gun, there is a small hole in one of the hands she holds her gun with to attach it to.

Here is Nendoroid Haruhi and Yoko together! Aren’t they both adorable together? As Yoko is my second nendoroid, I have notice some differences since Haruhi is an older nendoroid. For instance, their size. Yoko is quite a bit smaller. I tried swapping their heads, but it didn’t look quite right. Of course the pieces didn’t fit together very well either since they are different sizes. =P

Yoko joins Haruhi on her quest… to get more nendoroids? Well, of course I’d love to get more nendoroids after getting Yoko! I think Haruhi’s wish may just come true, if I get money somehow that is. Next I really want Kaito or Miku Hatsune for my 3rd nendoroid. Though, getting both at once would be better. But since there have been quite a lot of reruns for Miku, and I’m sure Kaito will be around for awhile, it won’t be hard to buy them both another time.

So there you have it! Of course getting Yoko got me in debt, but it’s alright. She’s an extremely awesome nendoroid, and I hope you decide to get her as well. The only problem is now that she’s with Haruhi, they are going to go crazy until the get another nendoroid to join their army against the figmas. Chouyuusha Haruhi figma VS Nendoroid Haruhi… uh-oh… this can’t be good. If only somehow they could just earn the money for me.
